The sun is shining, the ocean is sparkling, the air is full of energy, and the streets are full of techno talk. Down in Miami, that only means one thing: it’s almost time for Miami Music Week. 2017 has shaped up to be a great edition of everyone’s favorite time to party in south Florida. We had a tough time narrowing the extensive list of events down, but managed to select our top two picks per day. Tuesday-Thursday’s selections are right here. Grab your sunglasses and ear plugs and get ready for another week full of Miami adventures!

FRIDAY, MARCH 24

HYTE Miami

Where: Mana Wynwood
Time: 22:00-10:00
Tickets: $35-45 on RA
Lineup: Black Coffee, Caleb Calloway, Chris Liebing b2b Danny Tenaglia, Loco Dice b2b Luciano, Maya Jane Coles, Pan-Pot, Tiga

One of the things we love most about Miami Music Week is its ability to bring global experiences stateside. On Friday night, the sprawling Mana Wynwood – smack dab in the middle of Miami’s ever-growing arts district  – will be transformed into a feast for the senses brought to south Florida by none other than HYTE, a production team with roots in Ibiza, Amsterdam, New York, Croatia, Berlin, and beyond. Boasting an impressive lineup with two don’t-miss mashups (last time we saw Loco and Luciano go head-to-head was, well, loco) and several other fan favorites, this party is surely one for the record books.

Playdifferently Presents

Where: Space, Downtown Miami
Time: 23:00-17:00
Tickets: Currently $65-85 on RA
Lineup: Louie Vega B2B David Morales, Fabio Florido, Gaiser (live), Hito, Julia Govor, Lee K, Luciano, Matador (live), Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Pig & Dan, Richie Hawtin, Victor Calderone

Brace yourself for this one, folks! Richie Hawtin and his tech company Playdifferently have spared no expense in creating a lineup chock full of techno treats. Going a whopping 17 hours and taking over all three of Space’s areas (sure to be outfitted with Model 1 mixers), we really can’t imagine a more perfect Friday-into-Saturday event. From the smooth sounds of Hito to the pulsating Matador to Hawtin’s only appearance of the week, there’s something for everyone. Put on comfy shoes and get ready for a wild ride.

SATURDAY, MARCH 25

Adam Beyer + Joel Mull

Where: Trade, Miami Beach
Time: 22:00-5:00
Tickets: Currently $30 on RA
Lineup: Adam Beyer, Joel Mull

If you’re like us and techno makes your robot heart happier than anything else, you’ll want to make your way to Trade’s dance floor on Saturday. Adam Beyer and Joel Mull are two of the genre’s most talented heavy-hitters, and it’s rare to find them on the same bill this side of the Atlantic. Get ready for pounding beats that come straight from the souls of two of the most influential techno artists of our lifetime.

Mosaic Curated by Maceo Plex

Where: Soho Studios, Wynwood
Time: 21:00-5:00
Tickets: Currently $30 on RA
Lineup: Maceo Plex, Marcel Dettmann, Stephan Bodzin (live), Mike Servito, North Lake, Danyelino

Journey back to Wynwood for the 3rd installment of Maceo Plex’s Mosaic. Expect a rich and varied sound palette, from local favorite Danyelino to the Berghain techno pioneer Marcel Dettmann to melodic master Stephan Bodzin (who we’ve been vying to see for years), and of course Maceo himself, who has been quite busy in Barcelona and beyond. Miami’s III Points festival is also part of this party, which means the enjoyment will go beyond sound and into cutting-edge art.

SUNDAY, MARCH 26

Desolat & Ovum

Where: Heart Nightclub, Downtown Miami
Time: 23:00-11:00
Tickets: Currently $30-40 on RA
Lineup: Patio / Desolat: Caleb Calloway, Francisco Allendes, Guti (live), Kenny Dope, Tiga, wAFF, Yaya, + Special Guest
Basement / Ovum: Josh Wink, Ellen Allien, MANIK

By Sunday, our wallets will magically be less than half the size they were when we started our adventure, so nothing could be better than a two-for-one party special, especially with lineups like these! Treat yourself to the tantalizing tech-house of the Desolat crew as they bring some of their A-team to Heart’s patio AND the acid-flavored house and techno of Ovum. It’s no secret that Ovum goes the extra mile when they land in Miami, and this time label head Josh Wink’s bringing along superstars Ellen Allien and MANIK who are sure to revive your aching feet. Save some energy for this super-special double-header on the dance floor.

Bill Patrick & Friends

Where: Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Miami Beach
Time: 22:00-5:00
Tickets: Currently $20 on RA
Lineup: Bill Patrick & More TBD

New York City’s own Bill Patrick has a demanding MMW schedule, but his closing party stands out of the pack. Get ready for a fun-filled adventure led by one of the scene’s most talked-about players. In the words of Seth Troxler, “Everyone has a tale about our friend Bill Patrick. Some funny, some sad, some tragic, most shady, but at the end of each story or any encounter with this demi god you’re left wanting more.” Sounds like an ideal way to end a stellar week of partying in the sun.
